The future of work promises an abundance of opportunity for New Jersey’s economy and citizens, but to realize our full potential in the economy of tomorrow, we must begin preparing today. The New Jersey State Future of Work Task Force has been appointed by Governor Philip D. Murphy to evaluate and prepare for the challenges and opportunities that technological advancement will bring and ensure that our State’s future economy is stronger, fairer, and inclusive for all.

The Future of Work Task Force was established by Governor Murphy via Executive Order 41 to evaluate how technological advancements will shape the future of New Jersey’s economy and workforce, and produce an evidence-based policy roadmap to prepare the state for the future of work. Specifically, the Task Force is charged with the following objectives:
